test yourself

How can you tell if you are an Indigo? A good way to “test” yourself is to answer the following:
 Are you always searching for your greater purpose in life but feel like the world isn’t set up for your kind?  Do you feel wise beyond your years?  Do you have trouble conforming to the ways of society?  Do you feel out of place in today’s world?  Do you perceive the world very differently than most people around you?  Do you have strong intuition about certain things that most others do not?  Do you often feel misunderstood when you try to talk to people about what’s real?  Do you feel like you were born to accomplish a special mission in life?  Do you feel isolated and alone in your beliefs?  Misunderstood by family? Perhaps the black sheep of the family?  Do you feel anti-social unless you are with people of like mind?  Are you emotionally sensitive?  Did you have a difficult childhood?  Do you often feel disempowered by too much authority?
If you can answer yes to these questions, then you are most likely an Indigo. If you want outside validation than you may want to find a person who has honed the gift of clairvoyance, the gift of seeing what most people do not. The clairvoyant person while looking at you or tuning into your energy field, will be able to tell if you are Indigo or not by the colour of your aura which is the invisible energy field surrounding your physical body. You can also have an aura photo taken to see for yourself your own colours

astral travel-indigo souls

Flashback to a few centuries ago and I would have been burnt at the stake had I mentioned that I have an astral body, probably burnt twice if I had revealed that I actually traveled on the astral plane, seen the future or could read someone’s thoughts. Even as recently as twenty years ago when I spoke openly about my astral senses people looked at me as if I was ‘gaga’. I remember a game I played with myself as a young child and later too as an adult, when I was with a group of people, I would perch myself up in a corner near the ceiling and watch everyone including myself interacting. I enjoyed doing that and did it naturally. I did this without giving it a second thought, not being aware that it was my astral body that was floating up there. I knew though that it as a part of myself. Earlier on until I learned otherwise, I used to believe that everyone else could do the same. Of course I did not share this experience with anyone. I had to be careful to be with the right people in the right surroundings to mention anything about my busy inner life and other dimensions of being. Today ‘astral travel’ is a buzzword spreading like wild fire over the worldwideweb. More and more people are curious and want to know about astral projection. True or not, it seems to me that every second person I meet claims to having had an ‘out of body experience’ or is an old hand at ‘astral travel.’ Some travel while meditating, others while sleeping and yet others via lucid dreaming. Many experience this phenomenon at times of crisis and have had near death experiences.
Traditional science has not yet caught up with thousands years old esoteric secret knowledge. The door to this esoteric kingdom of knowledge still remains locked to many scientific minds. But it is opening very slowly by sheer force of the masses that not only believe, but also know and sense through personal experience. More than ever before physicists and scientists are joining the spiritual onward march, mainly because they have no choice as they find themselves at a cul-de-sac and have no where else to turn. More and more spiritual physicists are speaking out and because they are physicists their words have more clout. This is good news and about time too.
In this article I shall share with you all that I know about the astral plane, as a ‘baby’ occultist. First let me explain that there is nothing mystical nor sectarian about an occultist. A mystic is someone who believes in the existence of other planes of being without being curious to find out anything in detail as to the hows and whys. Most saints fall into this category. An occultist is a mystic who does not only believe but goes a step further to do extensive research and to experiment, to observe and experience with oneself. Famous occultists are for example, Edgar Cayce, Pythagoras, C. W. Leadbeater and Gopi Krishna. There are hundreds of other famous occultists both in the eastern and the western worlds and perhaps thousands scattered all over the world, who are not famous at all. All these people know of and are in constant touch with other dimensions of existence.
Here’s what I found as I surfed the internet on astral travel. ‘Amazing Scientific Breakthrough will allow you to have a successful Astral projection within 20 minutes! Learn how to leave your body, walk through walls, fly around your neighborhood, meet your deceased loved ones, communicate with your guides and teachers, travel through time to witness past or future events and much much more! 100% guaranteed or your money back!’
Now who can say No to such a fascinating invitation!
Unfortunately, many dabble today in a mystical world oblivious of the fact that there is some danger when one is ignorant of the details and the hazards involved when entering other dimensions. I hope to shed some light on this for you in this article and to raise your curiosity so that you will continue to research, to read more writings and studies about astral travel and to understand as much as you possibly can, before you venture out to send your astral body to explore unknown worlds.
The oldest and the latest occult teachings inform the student that there are seven planes of being. The lowest is what we know as the material plane; the second is the plane of forces; the third is the astral plane and the fourth is what we know as the mental plane. Above these four planes are three more planes but we will not be touching these at this time since we want to concentrate on the astral plane. For information only, you should know though that each of these seven planes have seven sub-planes each, and each of the sub-planes have seven sub-divisions, and this goes on to the seventh degree of each of the sub-divisions. I will leave you to figure out the mathematics of that one.
These planes are not composed of matter nor are they series of straight layers. The planes are graded according to their respective degrees of vibration of energy, matter being the lowest degree of vibrations of energy and these planes interpenetrate each other in the same point of space. ‘A plane of being is not a place but a state of being’ as one ancient teacher put it. Every student of physics knows that a single point of space may contain vibrations of heat, light of many shades, magnetism, electricity, etc. each manifesting its own rate of vibration and not interfering with the others. Every beam of sunlight contains many different colors, each with its own rate of vibration, and yet not crowding out the others. Prana or ‘vital force’ is found on the plane of forces.
In occult teachings there are frequent references to the astral regions and the inhabitants and phenomena of these regions. The astral regions are vibrational manifestations on the astral plane that occupy the same space as the material regions, neither one interfering with the other. The word ‘astral’ is derived from the Greek word meaning ‘related to a star’ and was originally used when describing the heavens of the Greek, the abode of the Gods. From this sense the term widened to be used to indicate ‘ghost-land’ to ancient people. They believed that disembodied spirits and angelic beings of a higher order inhabited this ghost-land. The oriental occultists had their own terms derived from old Sanskrit roots, which were much older than the Greek terms, but as these terms confused western occult students, they settled to using the Greek terms. In ancient times they were familiar with the astral and other dimensions of life. This knowledge was lost somewhere along the line as humans advanced becoming more material bound arriving to our century.
There are two avenues of approaching the astral plane. One is by employing the astral senses; the other is by visiting with the astral body. Each of the physical senses of man has its astral counterpart, which functions on the astral plane just as the physical senses do upon the material plane. Thus every human being has, the power of seeing, hearing, feeling, smelling and tasting on the astral plane, by means of these five astral senses. In addition to these five some humans have developed two more senses and these likewise have their counterparts on the astral level. Basically everyone can be trained to develop these astral senses.
One can with training develop astral vision, which is perception through astral sight. There is a documented case of a blind woman who is being operated on. After the operation when she woke up, she was able to describe the operation room, she could describe in detail each of the doctors and nurses, what they were wearing and even their features and the color of their eyes. She could tell them exactly which doctor operated on her and how many were assisting, she could even repeat the conversations they had while operating although she was anaesthetized. To the doctors this was a mystery but to the occultist it was no mystery at all. She had obviously seen and heard everything with her astral sight and hearing. Although her physical eyes were impaired, her astral vision was not. She had obviously detached her astral body from her physical body and was floating around in the operating room watching everything going on.
The ordinary clairvoyant has flashes of this astral vision, as a rule but not through an act of will. The trained occultist, however, is able to shift from one set of senses to the other, whenever he wishes to do so. With training an occultist can function at will on both planes at the same time. A clairvoyant has no need to go into a trance nor to leave the physical body to experience the astral plane all she needs to do is shift her perspective.
The other way is to travel to the astral plane. In this case the individual leaves his physical body to travel on the astral plane in his astral body. The astral body is composed of an ethereal substance of a very high degree of vibration. It is not matter and yet it is not force but in between. The astral body is an exact counterpart of the physical body but survives the latter by a number of years but it is not immortal and finally disintegrates just like the physical body. The advanced occultist is able to leave the physical body that remains in a state of sleep or trance, and to visit at will anywhere on the astral plane. The astral body, however, is connected with the physical body by a thin, cobweb like thread of ethereal substance, which extends or contracts as he travels away from or toward the physical body. If the filament is broken by an accident on the astral plane, his physical body dies and he is never able to return to it. Such accidents do occur but are rare and occult history has records showing their occasional occurrences. Stories have also been told of astral bodies getting lost on the astral plane and are unable to find their way back to their physical bodies for a long time. In the meantime, the physical body is declared dead and is buried. I will leave it to your imagination to think of what happens if and when the astral body after a long time, finally finds its way back to the physical body that has, in the meantime, been declared dead and has already been buried. The poor soul, talk about having a nightmare!
Just as steam is as real as water and ice, the astral is just as real and fixed as is the material world. To the traveler on the astral plane the scenery and everything they see seems as solid as the most solid material to the physical eye. The astral world has its geography, forms and things just as has the material world. The law of Change operates on the astral just as on the material plane. The astral has its laws just as has the material world. These laws must be learned and observed otherwise the inhabitants of the astral world as well as the visitor will have to bear the consequences. There are regions, points of space, places, kingdoms, countries etc. on the astral just as there is on the physical plane. As an example one can travel from Zurich to Bombay in a twinkle of an eye, by merely wishing to do so. If you have the knowledge and power, you can without leaving your seat, travel, traverse all the sub-planes, one after the other, witness the scenery, the inhabitants and their activities, and return to the material world, all in a moment of our time. You can also descend if you wish to the material plane and travel with your astral body to anywhere you wish on the physical level, visit far away friends and loved ones.
In traveling through the astral world, you meet with many strange inhabitants, some pleasant and others unpleasant, some have passed on from the material plane and others who are natives of the astral plane, who have never dwelt in the material world. Often astral shells and apparently real spirit forms which are nothing but semi vitalized thought forms, artificial entities, are mistaken for departed loved ones. Astral shells are astral corpses, just as the physical body in the grave is the material corpse, which the soul has left to move on to spiritual realms. Artificial entities are those formed by people who pray with a passion, example a mother prays for angels to protect her children. In such cases the angel forms actually take shape and exist on the astral level. Many family ghosts have been created and kept in being simply by the constantly repeated tale and belief in their reality. Many haunted houses are explained in this way. Repeated thought and repeated belief will serve to keep such entities alive, otherwise they would in time disappear. On certain planes of the astral world entities exist or living beings that were never human and never will be because they belong to an entirely different order of nature. Normally these entities are invisible to humans but in certain conditions can be sensed by astral vision.
On the astral plane there is no time, no distance, no hindrance, you can experience a lot in one second, you can go through walls, you can travel from one end of the world to another in an instant. You can go forwards and backwards in time and you can fly. You have experienced all of this at least once in your dreams. You can meet loved ones long gone and you can meet your guardian spirits. All of this is true. You can astral travel without having a clue or remembering passing it off as a dream or you can travel consciously. You can learn to reach that particular state of mind or in other words, a different state of consciousness in order to travel on the astral plane and keep the memory of it. All of this and much more you and I, as every one else, are able to do without a doubt. In the majority of cases, however, people are not ready for such adventures and if met with demanding situations could go mad from the shock.
It is known that very advanced souls often astral travel with their spiritual guides at night while their material bodies sleep deeply, to attend spiritual classes where they receive intensive advanced spiritual teachings. It is also said that many indigo children, who are reincarnated advanced souls, attend spiritual schools at night while their physical bodies are fast asleep. There has always been throughout the ages indigo children born but in our time today they are here in masses to help humanity to go through the great shift cycle that we are experiencing.
It is erroneous to think that astral vision suddenly dawns on anyone. In the majority of cases it is a slow gradual development. Many people possess it to a degree and fail to develop it further for want of proper instruction. Many have occasional flashes of astral vision. If you must experiment and try out any of the advertised on the web technical help to enter into astral travel, then here is one little piece of advice. When going through the astral plane, do not listen to anyone beckoning to you to join them, you could be tricked into staying there, look forward not backward, look upward not downward. It’s imperative that you have faith in your heart and that you feel no fear, fear attracts negativity. Keep in mind within your soul is a spark of the Divine Flame and this will protect you.
Could it be possible that someone can actually teach you to travel on the astral level, in twenty minutes as claimed in one of the websites on the internet, I really cannot say one way or another. Perhaps those with very high advanced consciousness can. We see miracles happening every day. On the other hand, could it just be possible that you are hypnotized into believing that you are traveling through an astral plane and told to remember whatever is said to you during the hypnosis. This could very well be possible. Once again all I can say is take heed, handle with care. The more light you have in you the less risky it is. If you are someone who is inclined to being negative and afraid then I would say stay away. Some gurus still insist it is risky and dangerous for untrained novices to travel through the astral world without an experienced guide. If you still are burning to experiment, so be it, go at your own risk. You might be itching to try this novice experience and you go ahead with it blindly and survive without a problem. It reminds me of when I first learnt to ski. When on top of the hill I just let go and skied straight downhill totally unafraid, thrilled with the speed and the wind in my face, loving every second of it. When I think about it now and how silly I was then, I know it was a miracle that I did not topple over and break both my legs. It was my total ignorance of the rules that saved me. Now that I know how to ski I’d never dream of going straight downhill so fast and if I did I would probably break all my bones. The innocence or ignorance, call it what you want, is what often saves us from calamities. The same principle works here too with astral travel, like children get away with many things that we grown ups could not do, total innocence and a fearlessness can save the day. At least now you have an idea what to expect. There is much more to know, but this is a good beginning.?

Are You An Adult Indigo?

The Indigo Children started appearing on earth over 30 years ago, which means that many of them are now adults. If you read my article on Indigo Children and found that many of those characteristics applied to you in your childhood, you’re probably wondering if you may in fact be an adult indigo.
Listed below are some characteristics of an adult indigo borrowed from Metagifted.org. Most adult indigos will recognize just about all of these attributes within their personality.
* Are intelligent, though may not have had top grades.
* Are very creative and enjoy making things.
* Always need to know WHY, especially why they are being asked to do something.
* Had disgust and perhaps loathing for much of the required and repetitious work in school.
* Were rebellious in school in that they refused to do homework and rejected authority of teachers, OR seriously wanted to rebel, but didn't DARE, usually due to parental pressure.
* May have experienced early existential depression and feelings of helplessness. These may have ranged from sadness to utter despair. Suicidal feelings while still in high school or younger are not uncommon in the Indigo Adult.
* Have difficulty in service-oriented jobs. Indigos resist authority and caste system of employment.
* Prefer leadership positions or working alone to team positions.
* Have deep empathy for others, yet an intolerance of stupidity.
* May be extremely emotionally sensitive including crying at the drop of a hat (no shielding) Or may be the opposite and show no expression of emotion (full shielding).
* May have trouble with RAGE.
* Have trouble with systems they consider broken or ineffective, i.e. political, educational, medical, and legal.
* Alienation from or anger with politics - feeling your voice won't count and/or that the outcome really doesn't matter.
* Frustration with or rejection of the traditional American dream - 9-5 career, marriage, 2.5 children, house with white picket fence, etc.
* Anger at rights being taken away, fear and/or fury at "Big Brother watching you."
* Have a burning desire to do something to change and improve the world. May be stymied what to do. May have trouble identifying their path.
* Have psychic or spiritual interest appear fairly young - in or before teen years.
* Had few if any Indigo role models. Having had some doesn't mean you're not an indigo, though.
* Have strong intuition.
* Random behavior pattern or mind style - (symptoms of Attention Deficit Disorder). May have trouble focusing on assigned tasks, may jump around in conversations.
* Have had psychic experiences, such as premonitions, seeing angels or ghosts, out of body experiences, hearing voices.
* May be electrically sensitive such as watches not working and street lights going out as you move under them, electrical equipment malfunctioning and lights blowing out.
* May have awareness of other dimensions and parallel realities.
* Sexually are very expressive and inventive OR may reject sexuality in boredom or with intention of achieving higher spiritual connection. May explore alternative types of sexuality.
* Seek meaning to their life and understanding about the world May seek this through religion or spirituality, spiritual groups and books, self-help groups and books.
* When they find balance they may become very strong, healthy, happy individuals

Raising An Indigo Child

These points are taken directly from the website below, but I expanded on them a bit to give you a better understanding from the point of view from an adult indigo.
• Respect them.
Indigo's live strictly by the universal rule that you have to give respect in order to get respect. If you do not show respect to your indigo children, you can bet they will not show you respect no matter how much you punish them... in fact, punishing them for not showing you respect when you've disrespected them will make their behavior worse.
• Practice unconditional love for your child. Love them and show it, no matter what.
One of the most difficult things indigos have to face in life is not being accepted by their peers. Even though they may have friends, they know that their friends will never truly understand them, so they feel alone even in a crowded room. Most people will think they're weird, though, and they may have trouble fitting in. They need your love and support no matter what, and they need to know that regardless of what they may say or do, you will always give them the love and understanding they need.
• Give choices.
Indigo's HATE being told what to do. If you tell your indigo children to do something, you will almost always be met with resistance. If you want your indigos to do something, your best bet would be to ask politely or give them a choice of what they can do (but even if you ask them to do something allow them to decide when it should be done).
• Give them freedom to develop, balanced with supervision and safety limits. Do set limits to protect them, but not arbitrary ones.
Indigo's need a lot of space. They don't like to feel as though they are being held back or smothered. Let your indigos explore life, but don't let them stray too far. If something your indigos are doing concerns you, the best thing you can do is share your feelings openly and honestly. If your children understand your concerns they may come up with a solution that will make everyone happy or decide not to do it at all. The worse thing for indigos is an overprotective parent. If you make too many absolute rules in order to protect your children, especially if those rules interfere with your children’s fitting in or socializing with other kids, you can bet that those rules will always be broken.
• Tell reasons and explain why. Never say "Just because" or "Because I said so" and feel it is an adequate reason for an Indigo. It isn't.
This fits right in with the fact that indigos hate being told what to do, but they also hate being treated as though they lack intelligence. If you tell your indigos 'no', be prepared to give an honest reason for your answer.
• As much as is possible, let them help to create rules and fair and appropriate consequences for breaking them.
A lot of parenting books and magazines suggest this now for all kids, and it's an especially great idea for indigos. If your indigos help to create the rules and consequences, they will almost never break those rules. The only exception to this is if they feel it's morally necessary to do so, but then they will most likely tell you what they did and will be perfectly willing to accept the consequences of their actions.
• Give them complete explanations to the level they will be able understand.
Giving reasons doesn't guarantee that your children will not be upset over your choices or actions, but the more information you give them about what you're feeling the more respect they will have for your decisions.
• Don’t talk down to them.
Indigo's do not respond well to authority and they can't stand when people talk to them as if they were lowly or unintelligent.
• Be honest with your children. Tell the Truth. They will know if you are not.
You can NOT lie to indigos... they may play along with your lie, but they will never believe it. And lying is a surefire way to lose your children's trust and respect. And you know those little "white lies" that parents tell their kids to get them to be quiet or to behave? Don't do it... it won't work!
• Avoid giving orders; instead ask for their cooperation in accomplishing a goal (i.e. of getting ready to leave on time).
Indigo's love a good challenge and will certainly rise to the occasion. Try issuing challenges instead of orders and always be honest. If you are in a hurry tell them you need to be on time for something and explain the consequences you will have to face if you're late. If your children know that you will get in trouble for being late to work more than like they will try to help you to be on time.
• Don’t try to manipulate them. It won't work.
Not only will it not work, but you will lose your children's trust and respect... and if you think it's hard to regain trust and respect from the average person, just try getting it back from an indigo.
• Don’t use guilt, fear, or hate as a controlling tool.
This is a good way to make your indigos angry with you, and will also cause you to lose their trust and respect. It may also cause your children to shut down emotionally around you.
• Be fair.
Part of the indigos’ mission is to bring true justice to the world, so when they see injustice they are compelled to fix it. And I can't begin to tell you the pain indigos feel when the person causing the injustice is someone they love and trust.
• Be consistent. If you say ‘no’, make sure you have a good reason and don't give in.
Believe it or not, this is another good way to lose your indigos' respect because if you don't stick to your own decision, how can they trust anything you say? And if you don’t have a reason for your answer, why should they trust that you made the right one?
• Don’t compare your childhood to theirs (when I was a kid we had to walk 10 miles to school uphill both ways..)
OOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooo.... this one is a doozie... it always elicited an "and I'm supposed to care why" response from me. Indigos know that everyone's life is different and you can't compare one person's experiences with another.
• Provide emotional support for them and their goals.
Indigos can actually see their goals and dreams almost as if they were a memory... something that has already happened. To be told it's not possible for them to accomplish almost seems like an oxymoron and creates a lot of anger.
• Listen to them.
If you don't listen to your indigo, how can you truly understand her or offer support and guidance?
• Respect their privacy and personal space.
Indigos need a lot of space.
• Teach your child to have respect for others regardless of their abilities and model this behavior.
The key phrase here is “model this behavior”. All children will copy your behavior because this is how children learn, but an indigo will make a point to copy your behavior (especially when they know you are wrong) just to prove a point. Indigo’s also have a tendency to be very short on patience, so they need extra guidance in learning to deal with people and accepting that everyone is different with different abilities.
• Admit when you make mistakes.
We should all do this anyway, but indigos become very resentful of people who try to hide their mistakes or put the blame on something or someone else. It’s one of the quickest ways to lose the respect of an indigo.
• Don't do things for your children that they can do themselves. Empower them by letting them develop autonomy.
Most indigos are very independent and will often get angry if you try to do things for them. It’s best to let them go (as long as it’s safe to do so) and let them ask you for help if they need it. Just let them know you are available to them.
• Give them some responsibilities around the home and choices about which responsibilities they will have.
Indigos need to feel needed and wanted. They need to feel as though they are a part of something larger than themselves, but they also need a certain amount of independence.
• Notice good behavior and thank them for it.
If you have lost your indigos’ trust and respect, this is a good way to earn it back.
• Use rewards at least as often as or more so than punishments. These help to get through frustrating times.
Actually it would be better to avoid punishments all together. Indigos don’t generally respond well to them. It’s better to teach indigos that there is a consequence to every action by using “punishments” that fit the “crime”, and communicate to them what you are trying to teach them. And offer rewards to show them that good behaviors result in good consequences.
• Involve your children in your life. Don't shield them from it or they will know and will resent it.
Indigos know when there is something going on in your life. Although there are many things that are not appropriate to talk about with children, you should be as upfront about what’s going on in your life as possible. You never know… they may even be able to help you feel better!
• Respect any psychic skills that they develop, even if you do not understand them. Provide appropriate training and support for any special talents they have - physical or metaphysical.
This is a hard one for many people to accept, and many indigos have had their psychic abilities squashed by parents who fear things of this nature. These children are here for a reason and these abilities are tools that they need in order to accomplish their mission in life. Don’t take that away from them… you will be hurting them more deeply than you could possibly understand.
• Provide creative outlets for your children.
Indigos get bored very easily, which is why they tend to “act up” or misbehave a lot. They learn quickly so they need a lot of challenges and stimulation. They also need to be able to express themselves in different ways.
• Be open to Learning from them.
You will learn a lot!
• Example of an affective parental request of an Indigo Child:
"I need you to help me get to the doctor on time. We have to go in five minutes to make the appointment, so do everything you need to before we go, like go to the bathroom if you have to. Also, since grandma is coming later we need to pick up your toys either now or as soon as we get home. You decide which."
An Indigo child is a trailblazer. They are here to set the path for the new world, and they have a mission to break down old barriers and patterns in the world. Indigos are children that are here on earth with a spiritual purpose, and it is not always easy on them or their families.
Indigo's have been coming into the world for some time, but only recently have we had an influx of this very rare energy. Indigo scouts started arriving in the 1950’s and it was very difficult for these children to find a footing in a world unaccustomed to such a child. A huge wave of Indigos came through in the 70’s, 80's and 90's.
These children have an insatiable appetite for learning, but not so much in the academic world, as in the world in general. They want to know what makes things tick, including individuals. Many of these children do not have issues with self worth, as they know who they are. They do have difficulty with authority when there is no explanation or choice when told to listen to their elders. They know that the world is not where it should be and if people have been here for years, they seldom turn to them for advice. They would rather find out for themselves what works and what does not.
Indigo children and adults alike become frustrated with anything relating to ritualistic systems such as politics and religion. They find these subjects interesting but they do not adhere to old patterns and would rather find new solutions to old problems. They do not believe in status quo. They are nonconformists with a flair toward creativity that startles, and rocks the boat of the old systems now in place. Schools have not allowed children to think outside the box and Indigo children do nothing but look outside the obvious. These children are very unique in so many aspects. When many of us are looking to fit in with one group or another, you will find the Indigo children isolating themselves unless they find a kindred spirit. They speak from their heart and seldom are shy when letting you know their needs. One of the most problematic and irritating characteristics to many parents and teachers is that the Indigo child will not respond to guilt as a disciplinary tool. No one can make them feel anything, much less use guilt to win a battle to make this child conform.

who are the indigo children

The Indigo Children started coming to this world over 30 years ago. Their purpose here on earth is to cleanse society of corruption so that we may move smoothly into the new era. Indigo's have many hardships to face in their lives, so the universe has equipped them with some powerful weapons... stubborness and a short fuse. Their auras are indigo in color, which is why they are referred to as the Indigo Children. Indigo is also the color of the third eye chakra, which governs intuition and psychic ability. Two more tools that are needed in order for them to fulfill their purpose here on earth.
Is your child an Indigo?
Indigo children have an innate understanding of their purpose on this world. They may not know exactly why it is they are here, but they know that they have a profound purpose for being here. They have no problem telling people about it, either, and it frustrates them when adults show a lack of understanding of what they are trying to say.
These children have a hard time with authority, especially people with a “do as I say not as I do” mindset. They have no problems following rules as long as they know “why” the rules exist. If they are told to do something, but not told why they should do it, they will most likely refuse to do it or do it very reluctantly. And they will let you know they are not happy with it too.
If you try to use guilt trips to get what you want from them, you will realize all too soon that you have made a very big mistake. Indigos will feel guilt when they inadvertently do something to hurt another, but if someone tries to make them feel guilty they get very angry. They consider this kind of deceitful behavior an insult to their intelligence.
They will not conform to societal standards. Instead they shape the world around them. If they see something as “wrong” they will try to fix it. They tend to be the one who sticks up for the bullied kid, and they may even stand up to authority figures, such as a teacher, if they feel that person is being unfair to them or another kid.
Some of these children do not do well in school, but it’s not for a lack of intelligence. In fact, they are very intelligent people and are often labeled as gifted and talented. They are easily bored when their school work isn’t challenging enough for them. Many of these kids will even take it upon themselves to skip ahead on their schoolwork just to alleviate this boredom.
Many teachers are put off by these kids because their way of thinking can even make a college graduate question their own intelligence. They may have a tendency to point out to the teacher better and more efficient ways of teaching and/or running the classroom. They will more than likely do this in their own home too.
Other Indigos may often get in trouble for daydreaming. This is also a result of their boredom and need to express their creativity. Indigos thrive on spontaneity and they love to be challenged. They are quickly bored with routines and forget about trying to get them to keep to a schedule. These children often thrive in a homeschool environment because it allows them to go at their own pace (which is usually faster than everyone else’s) and allows them to express their creativity and individualism, something which isn’t often encouraged in a school.
Indigos are not known for their patience either. It’s very difficult for them to stay in one place for too long. If they don’t have something interesting to keep them occupied while waiting in lines or sitting in waiting rooms, they will quite often drive their parents mad. Their perceived lack of concentration because of their daydreaming and need for challenging stimulation, and their inability to stay in one place often lands them with a diagnosis of ADD or ADHD.
The most beautiful thing about these children, though, is their deep empathy for others. They can not stand to see another person hurting and will try do help in any way they can. They seem to just know things that children their age shouldn’t know. Sometimes they will even speak and look more like a wise old person than a young child.
Unfortunately in many cases these beautiful gifts are squelched through the use of drugs such as Ritalin. In many cases, when these children are on these drugs throughout their childhood, they lose these abilities all together. But even though that happens they still know they have a special purpose and they will always carry with them a feeling of needing to be doing something.
Some of them will be able to find their way back to their spiritual path in life, but it is a long and difficult journey for them. Instead of having their childhood to refine the abilities they were born with, they find themselves having to redevelop them and refine them in adulthood, which leaves them with little time to fulfill their purpose

idigo to crystal

Our planet is filled with indigo adults. Although the planet is becoming populated by more and more indigo and crystal children, the fact remains that there are an amazing number of adults that were indigo children, and are now indigo adults. Most indigo adults are aware of their spiritual and physical makeup, as they are living within the third and fourth dimensional realities. There are many indigo adults however that were trapped in third dimensional realities, being smothered and becoming toxically overloaded - preventing them from realizing their potential. Many of these indigo adults are now emerging as many of the physical and emotional ills that had plagued them are now being understood by them as being a result of the toxicity and repression they experienced.
So our adult population is populated by newly emerging indigo adults as well by long established indigo adults who are evolving quickly into crystal adults. As an indigo adult, you are aware of your increased spiritual involvement with life, your creative/artistic side that perhaps was stifled, and your ability from young to think outside the box, which also was not looked upon favourably for the past 50 years. Perhaps as an indigo adult you had an affinity with the flower child/hippie movement, or the “green” culture. You also had and have signs of your ability to function in third and fourth dimension realities. The time has come for many indigo adults to move on to crystal. The transition from indigo to crystal is an evolutionary process that happens automatically - and it has many distinguishing characteristics. First of all, the newly emerging crystal adults develop a difficulty in dealing with “toxic” environments such as big city streets, crowded shopping malls, and any very “grounded”, “material” overloaded places with polluted (physically and spiritually) energy. They also develop the increased sensitivity to the plight of fellow man and animal that is suffering from injustice. This sensitivity normally existed before, but as the indigo adult emerges to crystal, there awareness of the plight of mankind becomes heightened - as well as their awareness of the state of Gaia - and how the respiration of our planet is being constantly compromised.
Newly emerging crystal adults also have increased revelation of fifth and sixth dimension reality as well increased psychic experiences, visions, and akashic glimpses. As they become more immersed in their crystal state, these adults also experience a greater understanding of oneness and cosmic unity - being able to perceive their connection to the Creator and to all creation. Another characteristic of indigo adults going into crystal reality is the problem of being overweight. Usually indigo adults absorb a lot of negative energy from others and they also internalize their emotional sensitivity. This happens concurrently with blocked chakras and a weighed down auric field. As the indigo adult evolves to crystal, their ability to metabolize - both physically and emotionally improves because they detoxify as well as work on a higher vibrational level - although a lot of protection is needed during the transition.
The one most important characteristic/symptom affecting all indigo adults evolving to crystal is the incredible detoxification process they are experiencing. The bodies of indigo adults are trying to expel the chemicals, pollutants, toxins, bad energy and other negative elements that were weighing down and polluting their physical and energy bodies. These elements were disturbing their energy fields, resulting in blocked chakras. Most times it has resulted in what conventionally is known as disease. The process of detoxification happens when the indigo adult consciously turns to a diet of wholesome natural foods - avoiding all toxins, hormones, chemicals and dangerous fats. When the bodies of the indigos detox, they experience a myriad of symptoms including joint and muscle pains, rashes, headaches, fatigue, weakness, brain fog, intestinal disturbances, bloating, bronchial congestion, among others. These symptoms are indications of the physical body ridding itself of the poisons before it emerges into crystal reality. At this point, conscious chakra cleansing, meditation and communication with nature is necessary to help the process and transform to crystal reality.

about indigo

Crystal and Indigo children and adults are gifted anomalies incarnated as humans on Earth for a specific purpose. In simplest terms, they are ambassadors of healing the Earth and everyone and everything on it. The first REAL wave of "ambassadors" (a.k.a. starseed, angels, healers, lightworkers, shamans, etc.) were native Americans as they healed and harmonized with mother earth, but Europeans put an end to that and eventually to the native American way of living. The ravages of World War I inspired a second attempt at sending in ambassadors with the message of peace as single, unique entities. However, one can see that Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Edgar Cayce, et al, did not succeed as evidenced by WWII, the Holocaust, Hiroshima and so forth.
It was decided that a real flood of help was required on this highly damaged planet which was getting worse, not better. A third wave came with the baby-boomers (1946-64).
How many people know they are Crystal and Indigo adults? I would like to share stories. Born in February 1942, I grew up in rural South Dakota, as a surpressed Indigo child. In 1994, I reached a state of courage to begin speaking about my profound experiences.
The political and social changes of the 1960's was first evidence of their en masse desire to have peace and healing on a transcendent level. But this wave is different from all other ambassadors, in that their special programming for the "mission" was not fully activated until later in life (during the 1980s and '90s). While this is true of many Crystal and Indigo children--I knew I was different from my family at age 18 months. However, due to my mother's fear of my knowledge, she persistently and consistently shut me down--"Now Dorothy, don't get carried away." Occasionally, that message still floats through my mind and I feel a sense of reluctance to share my knowledge and experiences, including this 'risk taking' article.
Crystal and Indigo people thought they were like all humans and only recently did they feel, understand, act differently or become aware of their mission. So now they know their origins and purposes, for the most part, and many of them became Indigo parents. How many people are Indigo parents? I am an Indigo parent. I would be willing to share my knowledge and experience as a parent and now grandparent of four Indigo grandchildren

chinese horoscope

These days, when it comes to Chinese horoscopes most people know which of the 12 Chinese animals they are, based on the year they were born. However, nothing in life is ever that simple.
If all there was to it was 12 animals that would mean there wouldn’t be much variation between the characteristics of people, just 12 types, or possibly 24 if you consider male and female.
Well I can tell you there is FAR more to a Chinese horoscope than knowing which of the 12 animals you are.
The first thing to remember is that Chinese horoscopes are based on the Lunar calendar not the solar one, that is why Chinese New Year falls anywhere between the middle of January and the middle of February.
So you see if your birthday is during this period you may not be the dog you thought you were, you may be a pig instead!
But, with 12 animals in the list each twelfth year the animal is repeated as they cycle through – doesn’t seem so complicated? Well unfortunately the Chinese calendar works on a 60 year cycle not a 12 year one. This means that each animal occurs 5 times in the 60 year cycle (12 x 5 = 60) and each one is unique so there are actually 5 types of each animal.
So if you are a Rat, you could be a Rat on the roof, or a Rat in the field, or a Rat in the Warehouse, or a Rat on the beam or finally a Rat on the mountain.
Then there are the 12 Palaces, Ming, Brothers and Sisters, Marital, Man and Woman, Wealth, Sickness, Moving, Servants, Officials, Property, Fortune and Virtue and finally the Parents Palace. Each Palace influences a different aspect of your life.
There are 5 elements, Wood, Metal, Water, Fire and Earth and 37 Stars and they all come together to produce a unique chart just for you.
The key to it all is your 8 character horoscope determined from your year, month, hour and time of birth, 2 characters for each, – in Lunar years of course.
In fact your very own personalised Chinese horoscope has so many possible variations that there are millions and millions of combinations

tarot cards

In a world that is modern and full of scientific advances and experiments, there are still some long standing traditions that claim to incorporate mystic forces. People check their horoscopes on a daily basis live by superstitions and believe that there are some things that cannot be explained. A major phenomenon that is now back in fashion is the use of tarot cards to predict a person’s future and discover their past and present issues. 15th century Italy is generally believed to have been the time and place that the use of tarot cards began. The cards consisted of the Minor and Major Arcana. The Minor Arcana includes each of the four suits. The Major Arcana consists of 22 cards that do not belong to any of the suits. The trend spread across Europe and became extremely popular with nobility and commoners alike. Tarot was used to predict events and eventually became of particular use to people who were interested in the occult.
The association of tarot cards and the occult led to the belief that tarot cards were involved in the dark arts and certain religions began to ban the use of tarot cards amongst their followers. Tarot cards then became a secretive form of expression with people using the divination of the cards privately. More recently, tarot cards have experienced a renewal in popularity, as people are more likely to view astrology in a light-hearted way whereas in past times they were overly superstitious. Tarot card readings have once again become hugely popular with a lot of people venturing to have their cards read on a regular basis whether for fun or for serious guidance in their lives.
Tarot symbolism is taken from many sources, including Astrology, Kabbala, Runes, and even I-Ching. Each tarot card has its own unique interpretation.
Each deck has a total of 78 cards of which 22 are major arcana or trumps. Some of these are The Lovers, The Fool, The Pope, and The World. The 56 cards or minor arcana, are divided into 4 suits of 14 cards each. The 4 suits are swords, cups, wands and pentacles.
Each card has a positive and negative interpretation. Read upright it is positive, and reversed it could be negative. The Fool upright would mean new opportunities whereas upside down it could mean foolhardiness. The Magician upright would mean thinking well around situations; reversed it could mean trickery, deception or a warning about someone you trust. The Chariot is associated with triumph, while upside down with rage and tyranny. The Hanged Man is associated with flexibility and negatively with materialism, an inflated ego, martyrdom etc. The Transformation card is associated with change or endings, while negatively it shows loss of opportunity and friendship, or even fear of change. The Wheel of Fortune is linked to destiny, movement, vision and good luck; while on the other hand it could signify obstacles, ill luck and unpleasant surprises.
Believers say that unknown powers in the tarot cards make symbols unite in order to point out what we want to know. These symbols are interpreted based on repeated results. For example, if the death card falls in a favorable position, a couple could have a long and successful relationship.
There are many reasons why people read tarot cards. It could be to look into the future, as problem solving, visualization, meditation or even for the sheer pleasure of a card game! Some even collect these for their sheer beauty and uniqueness. Psychiatrists would use cards to understand a patient?s inner thoughts or associations

Magic does exist! Moses really did part the Red Sea, King Solomon really did build his legendary spirit temple using spirits and Abramelin really did excite the tempests to cause rain, hail and lightening!
